Dearest Seattle First Members and Friends,
As a result of its lawsuit against us, Seattle Presbytery took control of our property earlier this week. While we wait to hear from the Supreme Court about our appeal, we are without a space to worship and meet.
Thankfully, our friends of Seattle Community Church have invited us to worship with them. They have worshiped with us before in our space, and now are inviting us to worship with them this Sunday, offering a safe haven for us as we seek God’s guidance for what is next.
We’ll worship with our friends at 10:00 a.m. and afterward, share lunch together and take time to talk, ask questions, pray, grieve and hope, trusting that God has a plan!
Parking is available at both the front and back of Miller Community Center.
If you would like transportation from our old building, please call Steve Cedergreen at (206) 310-0105, and plan to be in the parking lot on 8th and Spring, next to Town Hall, by 9:20 a.m.
